Console gamers are already maxing out their light level and mastering end-game fights for Destiny 2 on PS4 and Xbox One, but PC gamers have been stuck on the sidelines so far. After a little more than a month of waiting the time is nearly here and PC players are just a week away from exploring Destiny 2 in 4K with uncapped frame rates.
To celebrate the impending launch of the PC version, Bungie has just released a new launch trailer that puts all the focus on the game’s stunning visuals. In addition to highlighting some of the game’s prettiest scenes and settings, the trailer also shows off many of the game’s perfect or near perfect review scores.

It seems very likely that gamers who are going to buy Destiny 2 on PC are already sold on the title, but a little last minute marketing push definitely doesn’t hurt. Some gamers skipped the console release to hold out for the uncapped frame rates, while others are planning to double dip and enjoy the game on multiple platforms.
It will be interesting to see how the game fits into the Battle.net interface and whether or not this becomes a trend for other non-Blizzard Activision games. We’re also curious to find out if any World of Warcraft players saved up enough gold to cash it in towards purchase of the shooter.
Destiny 2 is out now for PS4 and Xbox One, and releases on October 24, 2017 for PC.
